overview

Here you’ll find an overview of my work, divided into different themes, from festivals to editorial shoots.

Over the past years, I’ve explored and grown across various fields within photography. What I love most about this profession is its diversity. There’s always something new to discover, new ways to evolve and refine my craft.

Each facet contributes to my growth and makes me a better photographer, even in other areas. From being a fly on the wall during events and festivals, to taking a more guiding role during editorials or branding shoots, every setting allows me to express different parts of who I am.

I like to bring my sensitivity and calm, observant nature into my work. I believe my best images come from moments when I’m fully in tune with myself, when there’s space for my subject to simply be, allowing me to capture things as they are.

  • People walking and sitting in front of a large pink structure with the word 'PHINKOLIP' and images of a girl with black hair and a red shirt, under a blue sky.

    FESTIVALS & EVENTS

Festival and event photography at Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz, Eurosonic, Zwarte Cross, Concert at Sea and more. Fast-paced and unpredictable, which is exactly where I work best. I capture the artists, the crowd, and everything in between.

  • A person with short hair and a colorful sleeveless top is shaving foam on their face, using a small brush, in a bathroom with patterned orange and yellow curtains and teal walls with artwork. They are standing at a white sink with a soap dispenser, a bowl, and grooming items. A potted plant is on a black stand in the background.

    BRANDING & Identity

Campaign and brand photography for cultural organizations, media companies and brands. I create images that feels authentic rather than staged. Portraits, campaign visuals and event documentation for NPO, Het Concertgebouw, Vitens and Winq.

  • A person sitting alone in the middle of many black stadium seats, wearing a white t-shirt, black backwards cap, with tattoos on their arms and legs.

    PORTRAITS & EDITORIAL

For me, portraits are about presence and creating space for someone to just be. I work quietly and observantly, and the result is images where something real comes through. Clients include Winq, NPO Radio 2 and Stichting het Gehandicapte Kind.

Some stories need more than a single frame

Photography is my main medium, but I also film and edit.

When a project calls for more than still images, I can take on video too. I'm drawn to stories that go a bit deeper: interview-driven pieces, documentary-style portraits, meaningful narratives rather than hype reels.

Got a project that needs both stills and video? Let's talk.

This video highlights the winner of the Hivos International Activist Award, an initiative by Winq. His story is very inspiring, and it was an absolute honor to talk about him.

“one of the most amazing things about being a photographer is that it takes me to all these incredible places”
